I can truly say that I didn’t know anything about “X-ray Tests” in the airport. I was very intrigued when reading these articles. I think it’s amazing that science has came so far to be able to allow this type of equipment to find such things as knives, watches, keys or weapons. I don’t agree with some of the statements made in the articles that were against or for the x-ray test. I believe that for someone’s safety and for the well being of someone that everyone should go through this process. Of course it’s a privacy issue, but at the same time if you really think about it, I’m sure you’d much rather someone see some x-rated x-rays then the possibility of death on the plane. One of the articles I read I found very useful in the fact that even when seeing the x-rated image you are not putting a face with the image. It’s just to make sure that there is nothing on you that could harm you or anyone else around. With all the news you hear today about bombers and weapons being brought on planes, I think it’s amazing that scientist are coming up with such ideas as this. I can’t wait for the next idea they come up. I hope that soon they will find something that can find more then just a rough edged item located on someone. As of right now that’s all an x-ray can do is find something that would have rough edges on you. I think that for the safety of everyone it’s a good idea to put this test in all airports, life is worth so much so why not give up a little privacy to live it to the fullest?
